The Switch to Green Expo and Conference will be held at the National
Convention Centre, Canberra, on 10 - 12th September 09.
The event, which is now in it's second year, is an initiative of the UNAA
(ACT) and is a great opportunity to track and consider Canberra's movement
towards a green and sustainable future.
Bringing together key stakeholders of the ACT community from government,
community, business, academics and scientists, the Switch to Green
conference will offer new insights into the implications of climate change
for the ACT region. Whilst the Expo will showcase the best in 'green'
products and services available to the public, demonstrating practical and
tangible steps which can be made to help us live 'a greener lifestyle' and
reduce our carbon footprint.
Conference prices range from $80 - $375 (inc GST), depending on the
registration, and entry to the Expo is by gold coin donation, and free of
charge for children.
